Masville National High School is a secondary high school in the Division of Parañaque.  It is located at Barangay BF. Homes, Sucat Road, Parañaque City.  It started as an annex of Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School in 1994.  Its structure’s humble beginning as an educational institution was an ordinary makeshift situated at Aratiles St. in Masville.  There were four classrooms catering to first year and second year students only.  The first Officer –In- Charge of DASNHS – Masville Annex was Mrs. Virginia B. Vecino, the Filipino Department Head of DASNHS.

Due to the unfinished construction of the school building in Masville, its operation as an annex of DASNHS had stopped in 1995 and all the students who were enrolled in Masville were sent back to the mother school, Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School, under the principalship of Mr. Urbano E. Agustin.

In 1996, when the school building in Masville was completed, through the efforts and genuine service of our local government officials, former Mayor Pablo R. Olivarez and former Mayor Joey P. Marquez, its operation as a public secondary high school and an annex of DASNHS continued.  That same year was the start of the services of Mrs. Concepcion C. Bernaldez as the Officer – In – Charge of DASNHS – Masville Annex.  Its students and teachers grew bigger and bigger each year until it completed its four-year levels and eventually had its own Commencement Exercises.

The operation of DASNHS – Masville Annex in 1994 up to 2000 was made possible due to the full support of our local government officials.  All the teaching and the non – teaching personnel were paid by the Local Government.

On September 1, 1994, all contractual teachers were granted regular permanent items by our Local Government through the leadership of former Mayor Pablo R. Olivarez.  This significant event was followed by the granting of the national permanent items of all teachers due to the nationalization of Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School under R.A. #8844 and with the initiative and support of Hon. Roilo S. Golez, formerly the Lone Congressman of Parañaque City.

In 1997, the late Ms. Erlinda Bonifacio, T.L.E. – H.E. Department Head, was designated as the Officer – In – Charge of DASNHs – Masville Annex due to the leave of absence of Mrs. Concepcion C. Bernaldez.  Mrs. Bernaldez resumed her position as the Assistant Principal of DASNHS months after she reported to office.

In view of the transfer of Mrs. Concepcion C. Benaldez to Baclaran High School as the new Officer-In-Charge in 2002, Mrs. Grace J. Cubebe, the Coordinator, English Department took over Mr. Bernaldez’ responsibility as she was designated as the Officer – In – Charge of DASNHS – Masville Annex.  She served the school from May 2002 to October 2002.  Mrs. Cubebe was succeeded by Dr. Teodulo Timtiman from October 2002 to March 2003.

From school year 2003 – 2005, Mr. Anacleto Fabic became the Officer – In – Charge of DASNHS – Masville Annex.   In June 2005, Dr. Rosendo C. Abulog started serving the constituents of DASNHS – Masville Annex.  His efforts to make the school an independent school from its mother school became successful through DepEd’s approval on June 8, 2007.  On August 8, 2008, the school was inaugurated.  It was officially declared as an independent national high school, thus, Masville National High School was born.

The independence of Masville National High School goes with the progress of its school building.   An additional four – storey building with six classrooms was built thru the effort of Hon. Roilo S. Golez, Congressman, District II, Parañaque City.

The great contribution of Dr. Rosendo Abulog, the support of the DepEd Officials and Dr. Eduardo V. Lopez, the Schools Division Superintendent, Parañaque Division, the assistance of Mrs. Concepcion C. Bernaldez, DASNHS principal and the cooperation of all the internal and external stakeholders made possible the birth of Masville National High School.

In the exigency of the service, Dr. Rosendo C. Abulog was assigned at Baclaran High School on October 3, 2008.  His transfer to Baclaran High School paved the way to Mrs. Grace J. Cubebe’s come back assignment to Masville.  Mrs. Grace J. Cubebe needed to follow her husband abroad in February 2009.  Mrs. Ma. Teresa A. Besana, Teacher II acted as an OIC for almost a month but was replaced by Dr. Marilyn B. Timtiman, Education Supervisor I, by March 2009.

On June 1, 2009, Mrs. Corazon B. Mandar, Master Teacher II of Parañaque National High School – Main who passed the principal examination was designated as an OIC of Masville National High School.

Promoted as Principal I, Mrs. Corazon B. Mandar took hold of her plantilla as principal of Baclaran National High School in February 2011. Beginning March 2011 up to August 0f 2012, Dr. Marilyn B. Timtiman, Education Supervisor I, was the incumbent principal of the school. In the next years, Mr. Glenn O. Ducta, Education Supervisor, occupied the office position as the school’s OIC-Principal for the period of August 2012 to March of 2014.

Then, Mrs. Marilou A. De Jesus took hold of the position as the school’s OIC on April 1, 2014 and later officially became the school’s Principal. While in the office, she was promoted as Principal II on October 16, 2016, and was promoted again as Principal III on March 15, 2019. She was later transferred to Parañaque Science High School where she was reassigned on July 22, 2019.  

From July 22, 2019 up to January 10, 2025, Ms. Gina N. Zapico, School Principal II, serves as the school head ensuring the management of the school operations with a continuity plan. On January 10, 2025 – Mrs. Marylene Salvatera P. Salvatera, Master Teacher II from Paranaque National High School Main, presently serving our school as OIC-Principal where Ms. Gina N. Zapico transferred to Tambo National High School, Parana 

At present, Masville National High School continues its function that caters all educational matters and other related services. As a response to the Department of Education’s call to “Learning Must Continue” in time of pandemic, the school operates online and offline services of Teaching-Learning Process, frontline and other school-related services, and delivery of learning resources, technical assistance, and other school maintenance/operation needs. All of these are observed under the strict observation and compliance to health and safety protocols mandated by the IATF.
